Peptide Symposia in Finland 2011

The Finnish Peptide Society (FIPS) is organizing 10th biannual peptide symposium (10FIPS) February 17 – 18, 2011 in Tahko Spa (Nilsiä). Symposium is intended for young and senior scientists from different disciplines interested in using peptides or peptidomimetic molecules in biochemistry, cell biology and translational medicine.

Young scientists are encouraged to participate to the poster competition and in young scientists’ session. The best presentation and poster will be rewarded.

Registration fee is 200 €, students 100 € including lunches and coffee. For housing we recommend Tahko hotel. Registration dead line 21.1.2011.

In winter, there are 23 downhill skiing slopes and a 65-kilometre network of cross-country skiing trails at your disposal. Additionally, there are snowmobiles, skis, skates, horses, dogsled rides, reindeers, rally cars – at Tahko you will find them all!
