The A.I. Virtanen Award Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, starting at 18:00, in the Small Hall of the Main Building, University of Helsinki (Fabianinkatu 33, Helsinki).

The event is open to all, and further details will be announced later. 

The award is presented by the following organizations: the Biobio Society, the Foundation for Nutrition Research, the Finnish Chemical Society, and the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters. This year, the award will be presented by the Finnish Chemical Society.

Dress code: dark suit
